Look in the Files section: I seem to recall some scrollable page classes.....if there is a good one there, you are right, you don't need a separate form.

> Is it possible to have scrollable page on page frame? In this case the divorce is unnecessary. The idea of populating form with the objects is the same, as mine (though I would use NewObject instead :), but I'm thinking about all resizing problems, so it seems quite complicated and time consuming.

>>My advice is to divorce the grid and the generated entry form. Have your button pop up a new, modal form. In the Load of the Form, cycle through the table fields and use AddObject to add controls and labels. If this is VFP6, you can make the form scrollable if things get too big.

>>>Hi everybody,
>>>
>>>
>>>I have a situation where I need to create forms on the fly. I never tried this before, so I want to ask about potential problems.
>>>
>>>My situation is: I want to create an application, which allows us to maintain Lookups and support tables. These tables have, of course, different structures. The simplest approach is to have an edittable grid. But some of the tables may have more than 30 fields, so they also require an entry form.
>>>So, I imagine this User Interface: (tell me, if this not seems right for you)
>>>A form with pageframe with two pages (or more) (one is invisible - Mike Helland mhTab would be very helpful for this).
>>>On the first page I would have a grid and our standard navigation bar. I may also have a button - Generate Entry form, which becomes enabled if I have more than, say, 15 fields in my table. The grid, of course, would be populated in run-time.
>>>
>>>So, the problem is with automatic generate the entry form (I mean on the second page, it may also require additional pages...). What could you advise?
>>>
>>>Thanks in advance.
