I need to be able to select a table (or should I use a cursor?) and delete all records then import a number of new records to that table all from inside the MM framework. I am using the newid() routine as the primary key. I scatter the variables from one table, set the values in memory varaiables for the second table, and then I do an insert into. This is where I start getting errors I think . First I'd like to know if this is acceptable or is there a more OOPS way of adding the records using the MM framework. Also how would I get a value for the unique ID field from inside the routine (program) that I am running for the import.
