A while back Eric Moore pointed me to a function to get the IP address:
oWinSock = CreateObject("MSWinsock.Winsock")
mIPaddr = oWinSock.LocalIP

When I run it on the Win 95 computer here it works fine. Each time I sign into my ISP the function shows a different address. If not connected it returns a blank. Exactly what I expected. However, on my Win 98 computer it always returns the same IP address. I searched the registry and found the address at:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet\Services\VxD\DHCP\DhcpInfo00

Anyone got any ideas as to what is happening here?
