I have two tables....

table #1: bar
number = integer (unique)
descrip = text

table #2: disp
number = integer (unique)
barnum = integer (number from table #1)

I created a grid on the DISP table. I added a combo for the barnum. I set the rowtype to 6-Fields and the
rowsource to bar.descrip,number. I set the bound=.t. and the bound column=2

I set the column to control=combo1, control source=barnum

I also have both tables listed in the DE without any relationship between them.

The principle is to enter a disp # and pick the associated bar from the combo box made up of the
descrips.

I either get a hit/miss on the data being in the combo. Or, like right now, if I go and try to pick a bar name,
the combo "expands" while I hold the mouse down. As soon as I release it (like to go and pick a
selection), the combo closes and my table jumps to the LAST record in the DISP table.

This should be a simple grid but I HATE GRIDS and THEY HATE ME!!!!!
