Thank you for all your help and advises, David (far from me the idea of turning the user's machines unbootable! Arg!!!)

The sofaware I was trying to use is called "Install-us". It has many other features than our Setup Wizard (for example it allows the user to choose the kind of installation - typical, minimum or custom, it's also possible to change the interface language - what makes a lot of difference here, and it has a much more beautiful interface, between other features). And it's very cheap.
(I can check for the web address if anyone wants to download it)

But it doesn't provide automatic registering (you have to enter where and what exactly you want to register... that stuff about HKEYCLASSESROOT, etc, etc...)

Anyway, I'll postpone the acquisition of another installer since Setup Wizard decided to work again...

BTW, I've found InstallSHIELD home page and I'll soon have a good look at it.
