Once you add the components to the MTS package, it is far easier to create the client setup executable by using the "Export package" option and then executing this on your client computer(s). Then a simple CreateObject() will do the job. No need for CreateObjectEx().
On #2, a DLL cannot have UI elements. Maybe a REPORT FORM command?

>I just started with my first experiences with Microsoft Transaction Server. I have a simple multithreaded InProcess DLL on my server. It is added to a package on MTS. I create an object with CREATEOBJECTEX on my client computer. There I have registered the VBR File and selected the 1st option (DCOM), giving the name of the server computer. The object seems to be created properly.
