I received the following note (just as I was ready to roll out a 500 meg database) from my ISP (halfpricehosting.com).
I am pleased to announce that the ASP problem with our
webserver (12.30.178.54) has been resolved. You will
notice an improvement immediately in response time and
stability.
Just to let you know, one web site was using FoxPro,
and ASP to generate their web pages. This is an
incompatible pairing with IIS 4.0. This has been added
to our knowledge base and are happy to announce that
it should not be an issue in the future.
I'm wondering if anyone is using a hosted website and using ASP and VFP database. Also, if you are, who is hosting your site. Any problems like this?
By the way, it was his headache, my nightmare!
