I just tried it again to make sure. Created a table in FPW2.6. Added some data to it and closed it. Opened the table in VPF6 exclusive. Added a new character field to it. Closed the table. Went back to FPW2.6, and I was able to open the table fine. I even tried it with memo fields, no problem there, either.
