Needless to say that this kind of message is not wanted in a user-friendly application. So, is there anyway to shut down this function and have the program always overwrite files when they already exist or do I have to, like I'm doing now, manually delete the existing files before running every single one of my queries?

Are you having to update these tables or just viewing them?
If just view then change your query to output to a cursor instead of a table. Then when you rerun the query it will automaticly over write the old cursor. Nothing to delete.
