This is reaching way back but... As I recall I had this occur when using Fox 2.6 with databases created with an earlier verion of fox. Recall didn't work. I seem to remember that I had to recreate the file structure, export the old file to text and do an append into the new file. Since I had several files to do I ended up writing a program to copy stru extended, create the file, get the index keys and recreate the indexes, etc.
