We are presently trying to integrate Crystal Report 8 in our VFP 6 application. I hope someone can give me a solution to the following problem :

We sell our application to customers, it's not for our own use. We don't know in advance where the database is going to be located. In fact, there can be more than one database. A report can be executed on any of the databases. How do we tell Crystal Report to use a certain database during runtime without haing to change the report from CR.

It seems that CR heavily favors VB. What can be done in VFP to solve that problem. We don't really want to have to use VB for printing reports. And we are sick and tired of VFP's report generator. It's totally out of date and useless (almost) for complex reporting.
