Needless to say that this kind of message is not wanted in a user-friendly application. So, is there anyway to shut down this function and have the program always overwrite files when they already exist or do I have to, like I'm doing now, manually delete the existing files before running every single one of my queries?

SET SAFETY OFF

It scopes to the datasession, so you need it in each private datasession; the Load event of a Form with a privatedatasession for example needs to repeat this command.
