I'm debugging an app in Access 2000 that I did not write.

The user gets this error

Function or interface marked as restricted, or the automation type is not supported by Visual Basic

The debugger dies on a line with DB.OpenQueryDef(...

I tried to post the entire function but the UT wouldn't let me :)

Any WAG's about what could cause this error message?

I looked it up on msdn.microsoft.com and the explanation didn't seem to apply... it was related to SQL 7 or some such thing.
