This is about application domain.

I came to know about applicaion domain from my managing director and wants me to incorporate this in requirement analysis stage itself.

According to him, application domain is
Knowing the customer well, like he might not be computer literate, etc and in advance we will support them with networking issues, or software procurements etc(Technical Support).

It is like planning to build railway lines, while planning we will consider all sort of consequences like angle of banking at certain points where the train may take curve, ie

We are trying to understand the driver who drives the train, who knows about train, who knows the place where to lay this railway track.

Ie you will understand the customer in all aspects and even user who uses the software .

Can you specify me where i can get some standards which we can follow to implement all this stuff.
