That's an idea, so I did some checking & testing. I think it might've worked in vfp5, but now in vfp6, the Setup directory is written to the local machine, so that can't be used. In vfp6, the server path can be found *IF* it has been mapped - but there is no reference if it hasn't been mapped, until a shortcut is made. Which is, of course, a Catch 22, since you need the path to create the shortcut :)
