is there a syntax for selecting a dummy memo field like you would do "SELECT {} as date from mytable into cursor mycursor" except I'd like {} to be a memo so that the select statement would read something like "SELECT ? as memo from my table into cursor mycursor"?

I guess what I'm looking for is a symbol for an empty memo field like the symbol for empty date field is {}.
