I have a table of about 15000 records (12 mb). Under FP 2.6 I could pack this table in about 15 seconds.
Under VFP 6.0 (with sp 3) and talk turned on, the copy portion happens in under 5 seconds then it takes 2 to 3
minutes, minimum to get control of VFP again. It appears to freeze and I can hear disk activity during the wait. What's
going on here and how do I fix it.
