I have a requirement to get information from a robot PLC which stacks cases on pallets. The idea is to make DDE calls to a Rockwell RSLinx communications package which is talking to the PLC via an Allen-Bradley communications interface card and retrive the contents of the PLC registers back into my VFP app. Does this sound like a workable connection and does anyone know anything about it?
