>>I just started using Stonefield Reports and have run into a problem with the ActiveX controls that it uses. As a means of trying to resolve this problem I decided to change to version 5 of the ActiveX controls. According to the Stonefield documentation, I can register their builder (which I have done) and use it to change the version of the ActiveX controls used in my subclass. The problem is that although the registration program says it completed successfully, I do not have the buttons that the docs say should be there. I am trying to do this under VFP 6...has anyone else run into this? Anyone know how to remedy this?

Mat,
You are correct. What I am trying to do is switch versions. The reason is this: I can run the Stonefield Report Wizard from an app on my development machine. But when I try to run it on the machine where it will be deployed I get the license error. I think I have narrowed it down to the loading of the ActiveX controls. Now, I cannot add/change/delete anything on this machine (I am accessing it through Citrix). The only ocx missing is mscomctl.ocx. The comctl32.ocx and comdlg32.ocx both exist on that machine. So, to test my theory I would like to be able to switch versions of the controls. Problem is the buttons that are supposed to allow me to do that via the builder do not exist...
