No. I tried several views, and almost wrote back to reply that I have no idea what you are talking about, and then I found a view that does the same thing. EView uses SYS(3054,11), and directs the output to a text file, before sucking it back up with FILETOSTR() and sticking it in the editbox. For reasons I am not yet sure of, SYS(3054) is sometimes giving different results in EVIew than form the command window. EView uses the default datasession, so it shares the same SETtings as the command window, which is what makes this even more confusing.

I am still trying to narrow the difference down, and when I find out what is going on, I'll let you know. Meanwhile, thanks for the heads up.
