Yeah, it moves too fast. You might want to look at several different options. The OLE stuff is great, but I typically use Rick Strahl's wwipstuff because it's lighter and he has an asynchronous emailing method. You have to be careful of that one though, because it creates a thread per email. If you don't throttle it, you'll wind up maxing out the cpu cycles. David Frankenbach has some sample code on his site that lets you talk to Outlook Express and that's also a lot lighter than MAPI. If you are bound and determined to use Outlook, you need to hit the help files on the Office CD. They are in the valuepack, I believe and they start with vba*.hlp. There you will find the object models.
