The Hacker's Guide warns to do a reasonableness check on the return value of SYS(2022). But what does one do when the return is unreasonable yet everything (else) seems to be in order???

I consistently get 32,768 as the cluster size when I should be getting 4,096.

Two different systems, both with Win98SE with all HDs formatted FAT32, VFP6SP3. If it matters, all HDs on both systems are SCSI.

System #1 has a HD of 3.99gig (as reported by its 'properties' and clearly shows FAT32. It is the C: (and only HD) on the system.
System#2 has 2 HD and I used D: on it because it reports 1.99gig and FAT32 in its 'properties'.

Is there some other way to get the correct value.

Any help appreciated.

Thanx
