This is not typical behavior for a combo box (even in a grid < s > ). I would love to help you track this down, but unfortunately, my crystal ball appears to be malfunctioning today ;-)

Can you tell me how you have the combo set up (RowSourceType, RowSource, BoundColumn, etc) and include any code you may have in the combo's InterActiveChange, Valid or LostFocus methods?
