I tested a product demo which at the en of its installation prompted with a warning message saying that one or more ODBC files had been overwritten and that ODBC should be reinstalled.

I checked the controllers TAB at the Control Panels ODBC (32 bits) administrator and noticed that the dates of several controllers like ODBCjt32.dll had been changed to a version from 1996.

Overwriting these files with the previous original 1999 versions would correct the problem or these .DLL file should be registered into the windows system?

Should I uninstall and install back again the ODBC drivers?
