Unless I'm mistaken, you'll have to set up the DCOM identity settings manually the first time. After that, you shouldn't have to touch them again. I recommend creating an account for your app, giving that account all the requisite permissions (temp files, database, etc), and then using DCOMCNFG to set the identity to that user. This allows use on NT without a login.
