You obviously have never dealt with Verisign.... talk about the worst company in terms of 'having it together'...

It took one of my clients once 5 weeks to get a secure certificate. I've had scores of bad certificates for them including an Authenticode certificate that was improperly signing controls insecurely. Out of 10 transactions with them 9 had one problem or another.

Not a pleasant company to deal with...
