>She keeps calling me in to discuss about the color
I should write a book, "Problems to MicroManagement Solutions"
Since you're already being slowed down over insignificant details, why not get her directly involved. Call her over to your computer, and BOTH of you stare at a page of BMP and let her choose which ones to look at. Let her figure out the RGB values of controls, and make her sit and watch how tedious it is to keep running the form for each candidate scheme. If she tries to let you use your judgement, get all whiney about how you really need her input on such a critical part of the user interface. I'd be suprised if you could keep her still for even two hours. If she's willing to do at least half the work that she keeps vetoing on you, then maybe she's serious about the importance. In that case, she is the boss. If/when the project fails to meet the deadline (that HER likely uninvolved boss arbitrarily decided) it won't be YOUR fault.
I know this frustrates you because as a developer you expect the freedom to create a good product. The loss of that freedom creates stress. Regain your sanity by feigning a complete lack of creativity and require constant 'assistance' during the color selection process. Even if nothing productive gets done, you'll be laughing on the inside (and probably rolling your eyes too)
