>Hi Larry. I'm the original post of this topic.
>So, you're saying that VPM may not be a perfect fit for everybody and that there are definately some "gatchas" to work out. Humm.... I gotta think about this a little bit. It all most sounds like I'd be better off creating my own frame work to work for me.

Well, that's not exactly what I'm saying! <g> My last sentence only means that just because I like the way a framework does something, that doesn't mean that everyone will like it. I find that the "gotchas" are more because I didn't set something up correctly than an error of some kind in the product. But then that's what the ProMatrix Developer's Newsgroup is for! <bg> I use that resource almost as much as the UT... another BIG plus for VPM!

As for writing your own, I wish you all the luck in the world! I thought I'd go that route myself until I started looking at the existing products more closely. Any framework I develop alone would not come close to providing some (a lot) of the functionality that's there for the taking in VPM and others.

Again, good luck and if you have any VPM questions, I'd be happy to discuss them with you!

Larry
