Jim, check your Property Sheet settings to be sure you don't have "non-default only" checked. Also, VMF has multiple layers, so code is often two or three levels "higher" in parent or grandparent classes. You can see some of this if you use SuperClass (I think it's in the Files download section here on the UT).
I've got the Shareware VMF still set up and it's not having the same problems you're having.
