Is that "quickly" as in performance or development. I'll definitly agree that it's faster to code around a view because VFP handles so much for you. But, IMO, the flexibility and control quickly exceed the ability to drag columns from a view onto a form. Again, my opinion.

Be careful with SQLPrepare. When you prepare a sql statement, It's under the assumption that it will be called multiple times with only the parameters changing. SQL Server does a lot of work that's only of value if this assumption is valid.
