>My users minimize the application i have developed. When they want to go back to it, they accidently restart an other instance of the same application from the desktop icon. At one point there were 7 instances running. I want to detect if an instance of the app is alredy running, the new one should not start. At the moment I do it by creating a file in the root directory when the app starts. If somebody starts the app again on the same computer, it checks for this file. If found, it gives a warning message and quits. Is there a better way of doing this where I can use some native VFP function to detect it?
