Guys,
Amen to all the above. In my experience (or inexperience...depending on the subject) there has been a great deal of hoopla over each and every technology, widget, development tool or language that passed by the bar.

If you believe all of this, by now each and every one of us would be out of work (or for that matter as rich as Bill Gates) for the sake of all of the wonderous human-eliminating, auto-generating computer wizardry.

The facts are the facts, you are the human trying to design a solution for humans using something totally without humanity. No single technology, whatever is trying to be sold to you, will ever be perfect for any solution (of even modest size, after all this is for people).

We are in the problem solving business, a hammer can whack a screw into a piece of wood but there is a better way...us what works.

The most difficult to locate technology, and for that matter rarest commodity, plain common sense....
