I have a form which, extracts field names form a COBOL copy book and diplays in a list box. I can seleect spevific fields form the list box and create a VFP Table using that strucuture.

List box has the array as its rowsource and I am creating the table from that array.

My problem is COBOL fileds have long names and when I create table using the array stucture it is not accepting the long names. As the first 10 characters of all the fields are the same, it is giving me an error message indicating duplicate field names.

I am opening the DBC in my code, just before using the CREATE TABLE command.

Any suggstions will be helpful.
