>Fred Taylor just suggested using a TRANSFORM("@L ... format code for a problem in another thread (Variable Not Found - Can't Debug)

Rarely useful to me but what would be much more useful, I thought, would be a format code that did the opposite - transformed the hex numbers back to decimal. That I've needed to do on many occasions. But it wasn't listed either. So I started playing around and found that if you use the form TRANSFORM(0xFFFF,"@H") you get your decimal number back. Wunderbar!

You don't have to do any transform of a numeric from Hexadecimal. Try ? 0xFFFF from the command window.
