I use Oracle LONG or LONG RAW for large Word documents or JPG pictures without problems.
For VFP memo fields (Oracle LONG) I prefer SPT, which I construct with:
pcLongField= VFPmemofield and then
SqlExec(x,"UPDATE Table set LongField=?pcLongField ..
For VFP general fields (Oracle LONG RAW) I use updatable views.
Problem is only 1 LONG field per table.
I try B(LOB) fields without success. (Oracle 8.04., Microsoft ODBC for Oracle 2.573.4202 )
