Roxanne,

Just took a peek at PayPal.com. Cool stuff. They're going to make a TON on overnight interest! *g*

Interesting is that they have geared their operation to individuals keeping their online dough, well, online. *g*, which means in the account of Confinity and that's got to eventually add up to millions. You can mave several tens of thousanfs of dollars on that money so they have a pretty slick method of making money. Also, that's why the service if free; it's not really free. *g* The members all help pay by keeping their money in someone else's bank account.

What I'm thinking about is a little different but I really appreciate the head's up!!!

Best,

DD

>>I'm thinking of developing an easier method for folks to receive payments on their web sites and wondered if you would mind posting some of the hassles you've had and what you would like to see to make this easier.

>Doug have you seen PayPal.com? This is pretty neat idea that's sweeping not only the auction sites but also now many home-based business types who produce a product. From the a buyer's standpoint it's great, plug in your credit card info and essential e-mail a payment to the supplier. From the seller's point of view you have to cough up your bank acct info to get electronic transfers, but it saves you having to gear up your website to do online ordering and since paypal does the actual credit card transaction the seller doesnt need to gear up their credit card processing registrations. To buyer's it's a free service, and you get tracking & confirmation on your purchases. Not sure what it costs the sellers.
Best,

DD
