Title:
How to have VFP 'etect'screen saver 'active' or 'inactive'
I think that about says it...
I have a client with a large network and users.
They have one main program (that everyone uses) that takes up a LOT of cpu usage when crunching the data.
They recieve a datafile; enter a few options; then tie up their machine for an hour or so. What they want to do is have the system sense unused machines and have them process data -- so when someone takes a break and their screen saver kicks in; it starts crunching some data that someone else may have entered.
They want to be able to use whatever screen saver the user likes; but is open to writing a screen saver that says 'Hey foxpro, start working!' and 'Hey foxpro, Stop working!'
ideas?
