The directory of the compter_name where the DCOM was had to be shared. The client desktop seemed to need a copy of the VBR file. regClient32 needed a session. We have worked through 3 instanciation errors. There is one more in front of us.

BUT: Never considered your suggestion regarding CLSID with the computer name in COEX. THANX! (maybe this will eliminate the need to have a client local VBR.)

BTW Does DCOM+ have auto-registration capabilities? Can VFP DCOM+?
