I agree with Barbara. You should have 2 mover-listboxes on your form. Use afields() to find all necessary information. If field is Char or Numeric, you can use afields (i,3), otherwise you should calculate the width based on common sense (in case of Memo fields, datetime, etc.) BTW, what's the total page width (Landscape or Portrate), in which units? How whould you compare the total fields width with the Report page width?
If it's not broken, fix it until it is.
