>I need a cost effective remote access program for minor troubleshooting at customers.
Hi Tocayo,
You should probably look into PC-Anywhere or carbon copy. Back in 93 there was a shareware product called doorway which also allowed remote access. I still have a copy of it lingering around, so if you'd like me to email you the zip file I'll be happy to.
I personally use PC-Anywhere for this kind of situation. I go back to version 3.
Western Union uses Carbon Copy to do remote diagnostics on the half a gazillion pc's they use in check cashing stores in the US.
Quite frankly I don't know which one is better. I've never used CC. PC-Anywhere has worked well for me, but I still have 2 sites that are flaky with their connections (one disconnects after a while and the other one only connects at S L O W speed).
Hope this helps!
Alex
