When you say myoutline.object.expand do you mean myoutline is the outline's name and the word object needs to be added? The way the syntax looks it should be myoutline.expand(myoutline.listindex)=.T. to expand a specific folder. Do I need to add the word object in between myoutline and expand or is object another reference to a specific folder? Thanks again.

>>Is there a way to programmatically expand folders in an outline? Help says there is an expand property that is set t/f but I get errors saying it's not an array when trying to access it. I can run the expand event but this does not expand the folder. I'm looking for a routine to fully expand all folders before the outline is show on the screen.
