Have you thought about moving to SDI forms? For the same reason, I have moved away from the traditional VFP main window with child forms to SDI forms that look like web browsers. Instead of having cascading forms, I have the one main form, with a tree view in the left pane and the objects coming and going in the right pane. Take a look through the FP Advisor and you'll see some cool ActiveX controls you can use to achieve this look.
