I am trying to retrieve data from one table to another table. both tables are identical. Here is what I am doing.

I want to retrieve data from table a into table b
use b
append from a

The command works and status shows me that record have been appended, but when I go to the table b, I don't see the data only blank append record are shown when I do display all. Anyone got a clue on this?
