>I have an OLEControl that I'm using to play an AVI file in my application. The OLEClass Property is "MSComCtl2.Animation.2" One of my clients just got new hardware and since then is getting an error when opening up the form with the AVI. They re-ran the Setup I had created with the VFP6 SetUp Wizard but it didn't help. Maybe I'm not distributing the proper ActiveX controls. Which one would this correspond to? What else could be causing the error? The workstation is running Win98.

Most likely, the new hardware that the client installed installed a new version of the control. Check out the ActiveX article at www.stonefield.com for some ideas on what you can do to work around this.
