You can use Print Screen or Alt+PrintScreen to get the screen shot. Then paste the screen shot into MS Paint and select only the part of the shot that you want. Cut and paste that part it into another paint document.

Or you can use HyperSnap-DX (download.com) to get the screen shots you want in one easy step.
