For Epson POS products, you can get a free ActiveX control [developer's kit actually] from Epson to pop the cash drawer and print to their receipt printers. I use their Receipt Printers and Cash Drawers frequently, and this control integrates with my VFP app just fine.

The kit is free upon filling out the following Epson POS Registration Form.
