Well, as it turns out...you were right. There was a filter on the table based on a form property. Why the error was
not occuring every time is still a mystery. Anyway, the one form (which had the table open with the filter) called
the program which was doing, among other things, the previously mentioned COUNT command. Once I modified the
code, the program worked EVERY single time.
