I do agree about trimming it. Although I do get lazy at times and use the fact that I reply at the top to let the thread grow like a weed at the bottom. :) But mostly I try to trim.

Some people do get overzealous about it, though. I posted a message on usenet one day and didn't pay attention to what was quoted because OE starts me out at the top and I just shot off a quick reply. I got an email from some guy complaining that I quoted the whole thing. I went back and looked and it wasn't hardly long at all. Sheesh!

Makes me wonder if people have nothing better to do than be self-appointed usenet police... :)
