>I am stuck. I have a form which had a combo box populated with data directly from a table. I wanted to change it to populate if from a view that I created. I made all of the appropriate changes and then loaded the form to get this error. All I did was to set properties for the combo box to column count - 4, row source -name of view, and row type to 6-fields. I tried to restore it to the original and still get the same error. I deleted the combo box completely and tried to restore it from scratch, but can not seem to get any result. It is likely something stupid, but I can't seem to figure it out from the documentation.

Neal, if you have RowSourceType 6 - Fields or 2- Alias it and myView in RowSource it should work. But if you have RowSourceType 6 - Fields and list of fields in Rowsource all with alias - it gives you taht error.
You should include alias only for the first field in list, i.e:
mytable.firstname,lastname,initial

Can it be the case?
