Yes, you don't have to permanently convert from char -> datetime, just do it on the fly for the calculation.

>Wish I could convert them but no such luck as the app is commercial and there are too many to update like so. Is it possible to maybe pop the time into a temp table with a datetime field, store DATETIME() to it and then do a replace with another date and time and then use your method?
